Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has called on the Ukrainian Parliament to work constructively and find a solution to facilitate the fight against the governmental crisis in Ukraine.
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said this in his opening speech within the framework of the Conciliatory Council meeting of parliamentary factions' heads and chairpersons of the Verkhovna Rada committees on Monday.
Groysman noted that today the Ukrainian society is in a "pessimistic mood." "The people do not feel rapid, high-quality reforms, changes in their own life. That brings certain distrust in the authorities, in particular, in the Government," he noted.
The Chairperson of the Ukrainian Parliament called on the people's deputies to "accurately perceive the reality as it is perceived by the Ukrainian society" during the consideration and discussion of the Action plan of the Ukrainian Government for 2015 on Tuesday.
The Ukrainian Speaker said that improper response of the Ukrainian Parliament to the information to be provided by the representatives of the Ukrainian Government would deepen the crunch.
Later, Groysman noted that the only possible criterion of assessment of authorities' work efficiency was not the number of elaborated draft laws, but their quality and further implementation.
